We want to follow the sun!!!

Hello there,

We will be arriving in Australia in April next year and we want to follow the sun . Has anyone any advice on when to go and where? Would Queensland be the best bet at this time of year, and if so, is it quite hard to find work in this area around April?

sounds beautiful. but yes, i come from queensland and have traveled australia and have to say that queensland is the only place for sun, especially this time of year, it's notorious tourist season, probably because it's the largest warm stretch of coast on the continent. if i can give any advice it's that please stick to the coast, don't take backroad diversions out west, there's not as much beyond the great dividing range that's tourist-worthy anyway. another suggestion is a short trip further down the coast into nsw and down to the great ocean road on the bottom coast of victoria. the whole coastline is riddled with swimmable beaches and is the best destination for sun in aust. in my books. have fun!!

We want to travel for the year and the main places we have in mind that we want to spend time in are Perth, East coast, Melbourne. So thinking of these places, if we are leaving in April and we want to spend a few months in each, where should we head to first in order to see these places and have the sun constantly?
