Me and my partner are travelling to this place next week. For one week,

What things are there to do there? I have read about fun activities like quad bike riding and golf...they sound good!

I have been told that one week is far too much.

Suggestions would be appreciated...

Thanks,

Riley x

Hi Riley79
You might like to check out websites such as http://www.christchurchnz.com/
The great thing about visiting NZ is that nothing is far away. You can drive or take the Tranz Alpine from Christchurch and be on the other side of the South Island in a few hours. Christchurch is known as The Garden City and has great botanical gardens, you might also check out Akaroa, which is more French than English. Try Google first. Just one thing, take warm clothing; the weather is like Melbourne, all four seasons in one day.
Have a great holiday.

no there's nothing to do there - NOTHING! Laughing kiddin! my colleague's a Kiwi he reckon this time of year great for skiing / snowboarding though he's a die hard surfer and said that a wet suit will go a long way in this weather.

Check out http://www.godo.co.nz/ or http://www.godo.com.au when you get over here. Now there are SO much more to do in Australia hahaha!

Thanks guys! I had a blast, hired a car and drove around the Christchurch - Dunedin areas.

Next time though, I am dying to see Milford Sound & Queenstown!
