Legendary actor Michael Caton, best known for his performance in the Australian film The Castle, reminds struggling actors to always ensure the public have a positive opinion of you. Winning the public over, will inevitably persuade casting agents to contact you for new roles.
Struggling through the early 1990’s, Caton chose to take on roles with a positive image, to gain acceptance from the Australian public.
In his new show; Packed to the Rafters, Caton plays the role of Ted Taylor, the father of Julie Rafter (Rebecca Gibney). The new comedy/ drama will be set in a quiet suburban town, portraying the ups and downs of family life and definitely not portray a ‘cops & robbers/ medical show”!
Including a new cast of fresh talent straight out of NIDA (National Institute of Dramatic Art), the new group of young actors are set to be the ‘next best thing’ to hit the Australian acting industry.
