| Does anyone know any melbourne suburbs that have hard rubbish collection coming up, i am helping with a student production and am hoping to nab some free furnisher |

It's illegal to pick stuff up left for hard rubbish collection...... (never figured out why!)
Check council websites, or just do a google seach on "Hard Rubbish Collection Dates" for sites in Australia.

Anyone ever been stopped though? I knew someone who made a nice living out of scrap copper and the like. |

Can't say I have heard of anyone getting prosecuted.....
I noticed Manningham CC now issues big fluro stickers to attach your hard rubbish with big warnings etc.... man I'm sure there are better places my rates could go to!!
