Hi, i live in Spring Hill and my complex doesn't have recycle bin which makes me feel really uncomfortable. I want to do the right thing for this globe so i used to bring my recycle stuffs to Queen Street or botanic garden nears QUT because these locations get recycle bins; and it's a hard work!
Recently i'm going to move and get a lot of stuffs needed to be recycle;
hence, i would like to ask that if there is any recycle bin for public use in Spring Hill area? Also, i got heaps of old reference books, does anyone know where i can donate them? I asked some charities but they would not take them and i really dont want to throw all of them into general rubbish bin.
thanks for your help!  |

Hi, I live in Spring Hill. My section of my flats has 4 re-cycle bins. you can put some in our bins as long as not too much at a time.you could put some stuff at the IGA shops in Little Edward St. there is a skip there, not sure if stuff in a skip gets recycled.
St Vinnies , Brunswick St, Valley takes most stuff.they have taken everything I've given them. they need plastic or any type of bag for when they sell something.
What sort of reference books?
there is a shop, can't remember name, cnr of latrobe and given tce, paddington that has 2 re-cycle boxes out the front of the shop. One for corks, one for old computer parts or printer cartridges.
