.....HEY GUYS,

I'm currently looking for a one-bedroom furnished unit in the Melbourne fringe suburbs (for a mate working long shifts).

.....BUT!

.....I'm seeing FAR too many ads (in the accommodation listings) that clearly and repeatedly breach Gumtree's Terms & Conditions. I've reported them numerous time, but they just keep on reappearing like mushrooms after a spring shower! Why is Gumtree letting this happen? I'm really getting sick of having to wade through (literally) pages of the SAME ads over and over EVERY day of the week. Exclamation

.....OK. At first glance there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the ad, except that it's been listed NINE times in total, including TWICE today, and FOUR times yesterday... Exclamation

.....Notice too that the ad also contravenes the Racial Discrimination and the Equal Opportunities Acts by specifying an "Indian couple". THIS IS ILLEGAL! It seems that every second ad says applicants MUST be Indian, Chinese, or Korean... Exclamation

.....what's going on here exactly Mr Gumtree. Question
