Hey Gummies!
What do you think of the category options we currently have available?
Would you like to see any removed or added?
We would love to hear your opinions!
Thanks!

How about all the categories you have that you allow scammers to use.
Get rid of them, then come here asking your questions.
Until then ..... |

| And when you're done there ... get rid of the other scammer RSVP and bring back your personals category. |

.....I can only agree with TheD-unit re scammers.
.....rather than waste time repeatedly "fine-tuning" Gumtree's categories etc, you might be better off looking at controlling the plethora of SCAMMERS operating on this site -- apparently without any intervention from the Gumtree administration.
Day after day we see scammers operating here. Everything from overpriced concert tickets, to shonky mobile phones, to hugely under-priced late-model cars, to non-existent accommodation, to "click-through" commercial links.
.....the "user-friendliness" factor is declining rapidly at Gumtree -- in many cases simply because of the amount of scam, and spam, that's allowed to proliferate here.
.....people -- like me -- just get sick of wading through all the dross simply to find relevant, worthy ads from responsible buyers and sellers.
Shame really..... |

Hi I'm just wondering if you could start including some way for buyers to advise gumtree when an advertised item has already been sold. Maybe a little button that you can press and once it's pressed say 5 times you can email the seller to confirm if the item is still 4 S ale. if no reply the item is removed... would save lot's of frustration
ps i don't know why this stupid site thinks --- is a swear word... sorry i mean S A L E is not a swear people |

Mmmm, I'm not even getting silly emails.
As for stuff sold. Just delete the item. I don't have any experience in actually selling stuff! |
