Why is it I can register with my email but cant use it to reply to an add says its incorrect email doh!!!!!!!!

for some reason it says i have had a few replies to one of my adds but have not received any emaIils ... my email address is correct and nothing in my junk folder ????? what going on ???

i'm unable to post a new advert. regardless of which category i select, it will go to the page where you type what you're selling, then a second later it forwards to the terms and conditions page.

i've tried internet explorer (vCool, firefox (v3.5.3) , and google chrome (v3.0.195.25)

I'm having the same issue.

If I try to either Edit my Ad or post a New Ad it forwards me to the Terms of Use page.

Very frustrating as I'm trying to get rid of items ASAP.

Hope there is a solution

Hi to all before,

Sadly, Sad , the site still is not allowing the posting / accessing of ads. It would appear that Gumtree is having an issue or three!

Please don't bother resetting your web browser or your anti-virus / spamming suites as the problem is obviously not with site users but the site itself. I know this doesn't work as I have tried - similar to previous posts Shocked !

Instead - please contact Gumtree directly indicating your problems (as they are more likely to respond to a number of complaints rather than one) ! Rolling Eyes

Sorry, but I'm assuming you're joking?

.....the very LAST thing Gumtree admin want us doing is actually contacting them to report problems!

.....you may have noticed that there are NO moderators active on these forums at ANY time.

.....the complete site is rapidly becoming an ongoing joke in the networld.

I have been using Gumtree for the last few years - it has been fantastic up until the last 6 months!
Try to post ads to sell things - removed - try to edit your ad - removed.
Why cant it just go back to being user friendly and easy to use!!!!

.....I could be wrong but I'm guessing that eBay (who own Gumtree) are purposely and progressively degrading this site so as to eventually run it into the ground.

.....the easiest way to destroy your commercial competition is to buy 'em out (as eBay has bought Gumtree) and then destroy them by making them totally ineffective, and losing all their client base.

.....any moderator care to refute this? I'm betting NOT.
