Hi Guys,
I just wanted to let you all know that we have been doing some work over the weekend and today have launched some new categories across all Australian Gumtree sites that we hope will improve your experience. The following categories have been added:
In "Accommodation":
* house / unit / apartment rental wanted
* flat share / house share wanted
* other real estate wanted
In "Stuff for ---":
* Stuff for --- wanted
In "Jobs":
* Jobs wanted
In "Business services":
* Business services wanted
We hope these changes help you to find what you are looking for on Gumtree, and as always, please let us know what you think

I HEAR you - silvanad1........ i look in the 'office/admin' area of the jobs or 'accommodation' sections & i spend more time scrolling through people looking for work or rooms - instead of vacancies! is VERY annoying! 
Gumtree - please fix this - across all boards... either by notifying the person to post in the applicable 'wanted' field; or simply reject the ad - because people like me and silvanad1 and i'm sure many more - who have to trawl through useless ads that shouldn't be there!  |

any of you but i have had difficulty posting ads as i do not get confirmation emails. no the cookies are not set on high nor do they end up in the junk mail folder. did try the gumtree link on resending confirmation email, that doesn't work either.
has anyone experienced this? how have you guys got over this |

Just made the new categories in the nick of time and KNEW i was coming! lol
I used to work in classified advertising in Sydney for at least 7 years full time and NO matter HOW carefully an ad is written, nor placed in its correct category some hopeful always reads it wrongly
so you wont find even 60% applauding your efforts but i appreciate it anyway.

Great idea to have a wanted section.. especially in the accommodation listings. However, the category doesn't actually look like it is there, so what happened to it?
